My institution is The Wilderness; The Darkness; The Mess; The Crisis. If you’ve found yourself in the wilderness; if you’re fearfully looking out at the wilderness, reluctant to travel out there by yourself, know that you are not alone. At the risk of sounding like the Creator itself, have comfort in knowing that I’ve made myself a home in the Wilderness, in the Mess, in the Darkness. I will be waiting for you; me and the God that I know will be waiting. My patrons are those who have been hurt, those who are confused, disappointed, disillusioned, angry, and doubting. I don’t claim to have all the answers, but I wish to walk with you.
